Gothenburg Self Guided Tour of Canons and Canals

Overview

A four-year-old boy was proclaimed king inside a locked-gate arsenal while his father's body lay hidden a few streets away. This self-guided walking tour of Gothenburg, narrated through our app, walks you through that night and more stories, such as a diplomat who saved thousands of lives and then vanished without a trace, a bankrupt exile who out-smuggled the British East India Company, and twelve cameras made in Gothenburg still sitting on the surface of the Moon. Walk at your own pace across canals, squares and old fortress hills, pausing for coffee or photos as you like. No group to keep up with, no fixed start time. The app works offline, so a weak signal never gets in the way. This Gothenburg audio tour suits travelers who want the real stories behind a city, not just its landmarks, and anyone who'd rather explore on their own schedule. Over 25,000 travelers have used our self-guided tours, and this one comes with a full refund guarantee, so you can book with confidence.
